Total Clinical Trial Management continues to maintain an outstanding track record of enrolling all studies early or on time as recruitment for a Phase III dermatology program completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Originally, the team planned to randomize 924 patients in 27 weeks utilizing 26 sites. During the enrollment period, the timeline was revised to complete enrollment in 21 weeks. The target was met in 19 weeks, 2 weeks ahead of the updated projections.
TCTM’s clinical operations team emphasized site communication as a key to meeting the aggressive timeline, and facilitated study-wide trainings with sites to encourage peer-to-peer sharing of recruitment and retention strategy. Patients that participated in this study were expected to remain enrolled for 12 weeks. Throughout the course of the study, only 3 percent of patients withdrew.

Patients enrolled as a result of several initiatives, including a digital advertising strategy developed by TCTM’s in-house recruitment team. Recruitment strategy is managed by TCTM’s Total Recruitment and Retention Services (TRRS) division. The TRRS group works closely with the clinical operations team and site coordinators to develop and execute customized recruitment plans. To date, TCTM has enrolled 100% of studies on time – 63% of all studies have completed ahead of schedule.
